William Shakespeare s Life Of The English Language

One of the greatest dramatists of all time came into the world on April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, a small market town northwest of London (Biography 2016). William Shakespeare grew up modestly throughout the early years of his life, but the influence that he had in the literary world was anything but. His childhood education and young-adult jobs aided him in creating a name for himself gradually to the theater. With patience and commitment towards his writings, Shakespeare became known as the finest poet of the English language (Lineback 2016). As a child, Shakespeare had two older sisters and three younger brothers. His parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Arden (Biography 2016). William’s father was a leather merchant while his mother was a local landed heiress. At the beginning of William’s life, his father held official positions like a bailiff, which resembled a mayor (Biography 2016). His parents’ higher statuses helped Shakespeare attend a well-known local grammar school, known as the King’s New School, that not only studied Latin grammar but also reading, writing, and the classics of that time (Biography 2016; History 2016). The education during the Elizabethan Age made literacy and grammar a high priority for the young males of England (Shakespeare in America 2016).
